Why you want to write, how to keep the critic voice at bay, and how get started are issues this coaching session will help you with. Includes handouts and writing exercises.

$50 for 1 30-minute phone coaching session. Bring your questions to the call. I will answer your questions about how to get started, develop, and structure your story.

• How do I sort through so many memories?
• How do I know if it's inner critic that stops me or if what I have to say is worth writing?

• I am worried about making my family angry--how do I handle this?
• If I censor or change what "really" happened, am I writing fiction?

A session is one hour— Includes introductory articles and exercises, feedback online and on the phone, and reading time. This coaching package guides you to begin and write your memoir with the maximum support and feedback. It is just like being in one of my classes or sitting next to me in my office. We are able to work on the usual issues that memoirists face, and to give attention to the particular problems that you encounter in your memoir.

This is the highest level coaching that I offer, and right now I’m offering this special package:

Most people want to work with me either twice a month or every week. We can work at whatever pace is best for you. The goal is for you to be accountable and get your stories written. We all know that having an “assignment” is the best way to move ahead.
